I was inspired by a trip to my grandfathers old house whilst painting this piece.
I had many fond memories of life in the Aber Valley, and wanted to create a piece that showed that!
I made sure to avoid the typical drab trope that is regularly used when painting the valleys, and instead used highlights, and bright colours to illustrate those happy memories.
