As part of my plein air series, I painted a lovely local spot near Castle view in Caerphilly. I kept a cadmium hue under painting to highlight the low end of summer sun.
This piece is painting on a lovely primed board, and could be a perfect gift for someone with fond memories of castle view and its lake.
