This piece was inspired by Christmas, and a small winter shower.
Having had a brief fluster of snow, I’d realised that it had been an incredibly long time since I last painted a snow scene.
With this piece, I wanted to push the boundaries of what I could do with shadows and highlights, and the colours I’d use to represent them.
