Why commission a painting?
A commissioned painting is timeless piece of art, that will forever be uniquely yours. Whether it is to record a special moment in your life, or to celebrate the life of another, what better way to capture the moment than in a painting?
The greatest commissions are ones that capture the likeliness of a subject, in a way that portrays their personality, mannerisms, and character. From the first enquiry to the final painting, I will look to fill the painting with as much of the subjects character as I can.
My art wavers between multiple artistic styles, with impressionism and contemporary realism being my preferred mode of work. Because of this I am able to work in a selection of materials, ranging from acrylic, oil, and water-based paints, to sketches, and even relief printing. I can work towards anything to fit your needs.
To create my paintings, I typically ask for as many photos of the subject as possible. This way I can begin to understand the personality and character of it, whilst also find the best pose to base the painting off.

Discuss ideas
Once we are in conversation, I will begin to discuss your ideas, and requirements with you. This can be through social media messaging, email, or telephone calls.
Quote
Once we've come to a conclusion about your commission, I will quote you a price for the piece.
This quote will detail the full cost of the artwork itself, though further costs may be added in certain cases, for the transport of the artwork to its final destination.
Typically 40% of the commission fee is required prior to the creation of the piece with the outstanding balance due upon delivery of the final piece.
